village houses, carefully restored, they have great character, beautiful
gardens and command dramatic views. Visitors are thus able to enjoy the unique combination of authentic village life, together with the comforts of a modern villa and pool normally found only in the development areas which have destroyed so much of the Algarve. They offer that rare discovery - the best of both worlds. The ancient village is in the conservation area, half a mile from completely unspoilt coastline, at the western end of the Algarve near Cape St Vincent. It is one hour's drive from Faro airport. Two or more families (or generations) wishing to go on holiday together but wanting a measure of independence may favour this arrangement. Large parties (e.g. golfing parties) can be accommodated up to a maximum of 20. All the houses are attractively furnished in traditional Portuguese style and include daily maid, bed linen and towels, English representative and baby sitter and complimentary welcome pack with generous selection of food and wine.
